Ron Flahart, 74, of Catasauqua, died Nov. 15, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Carol A. (Hartranft) Flahart for 44 years.

Born in Spartanburg, S.C., he was a son of the late Martin and Thelma (Allsop) Flahart.

He was a graduate of William Allen High School. He was a graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy and Moravian College.

He was a former assistant golf professional at Tavistock Country Club, New Jersey, and a history teacher in the Allentown School District. He was an account executive with Morgan Stanley Dean-Witter, from which he retired after 30 years.

He was a local award-winning photographer.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Andrea Flahart with Justine of Riegelsville; a son, Larry with Rebecca of Bethlehem; three grandchildren, Leon with Emily Kukura of Nazareth, Ian Flahart at Penn State University and Hannah Flahart at East Carolina University; and two great-grandchildren, Everly and Avery Kukura.
