Margaret M. Yellen, 85, of Coplay, died Nov. 16, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Hospice-Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late James D. Yellen Sr.

Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Steltzer) Gasper.

She was a clerk at the former Laneco, Coplay, for 29 years before she retired in 1993. She then worked at Growing Tree Nursery, Whitehall, for 18 years.

She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay, and of the church’s Altar and Rosary Society.

She is survived by two sons, James D. Jr. and his wife Donna and Steven J. and his wife Deborah, all of Northampton; a daughter, Patti and her husband Jeffrey Gober of Northampton; a sister, Stella Fried of Allentown; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a brother, William Gasper; and two sisters, Mary Leiner and Dorothy Lipko.

There will be a viewing 9-10 a.m. Nov. 21 at the funeral home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay. There will be a Mass of Christian burial 10:30 a.m. Nov. 21 at the church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay, 18037.
