Larue Smeltz, 84, of Macungie, died Nov. 12, 2018, at Bell Haven Nursing Home, Quakertown. She was the wife of the late Dean E. Smeltz, who died March 22, 2007. Born in Barnesboro, Cambria County, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Sylvia (Borring) Davis.

She was a shipper for the former Day-Timer, Inc. for many years, retiring in 1996.

She enjoyed playing bingo and watching her TV shows.

She is survived by daughters, Kathy and her husband Roy Kline, of Macungie, Carol and her husband Scott Schaeffer, of Mertztown and Deborah Stoudt, of Allentown; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, James Davis.
