Thomas H. Leiser, 74, of Schnecksville, died Nov. 10, 2018, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown.

He and his wife, Donna L. (Oates) Leiser were married 51 years and sweethearts for 56 years.

Born April 19, 1944, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Harold J.A. and Anna (Mertz) Leiser.

A 1962 graduate of Slatington High School, and a 1966 graduate of Kutztown State College, he was a mathematics teacher in Southern Lehigh Middle School for 26 years before retiring in 1993.

Additionally, he co-owned with his wife, Little People Day Care School, Whitehall, for the last 31 years.

He loved to travel especially cruising.

After some coaxing from his wife, he relented taking a helicopter ride in Hawaii which ended up being one of his favorite memories.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a daughter Jill B. Danner and her husband, Ralph Jr., of Schnecksville; son Todd R. and his wife, Karen, of Kutztown; brother William A. of Milford; sister Helen Mohrey of Fountain Hill; and grandchildren Sarah and Rebecca Danner, and Robert and Elizabeth Leiser.

His memorial service will be 11 a.m. Nov. 17 in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville.

Family and friends may pay their respects 10-11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
