Lavern M. Lippincott, 100, formerly of Allentown, died Nov. 6, 2018, in Abington Manor Memory Care Village, Easton.

She was the widow of Harold Marshall Lippincott.

Born in Sayreville, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Edward and Florence (Meyer) Clark.

A graduate of the former Trenton State College, now the College of New Jersey, she was the first female cheerleader as well as the first female lifeguard in Middlesex, N.J.

She was a physical education teacher for six years. After that, she became an airline stewardess for 30 years for American Airlines and then Pan American Airways.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Her survivors include nieces, nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services will be private.
