Henry W. Powell, 86, of Allentown, died Nov. 6, 2018, in his home. He was the husband of the late Claire D. (McGovern) Powell, who died April 25, 2016. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late John K. and Mabel A. (Breiner) Powell.

He was employed at Duggan & Marcon as a plasterer before retiring.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Allentown.

He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean War.

He was a loving, loyal and most generous husband, father and grandfather, who will be dearly missed.

He is survived by children: John Mark and his wife Priscilla, Marybeth and her husband Mario Rosato, Carol Ann and her husband Kevin Kress and Scott T.; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
