Future Grenadiers

Gould family members are devoted fans of the Liberty HS Grenadier Band. It’s little wonder, given that Katie DeLong Gould and her sisters-in-law Amy Gould Swanson and Alyson Gould Brader, were all majorettes in the band.

Katie Delong Gould even made a trip to England and Scotland with the Grenadiers in her freshman year at Liberty during the 1995-96 school year. So, it follows that her twins, Evelyn and Bradyn, have made the Grenadiers their favorite marching band as well.

This past Halloween the twins donned costumes made by their grandmother, Evelyn as a Grenadier majorette and Braden as a Grenadier band member, to go trick or treating.

Katie Gould says the entire Hanover Township family enjoys watching the band perform anywhere they go. Evelyn “loves watching the majorettes” and Bradyn “especially likes the horns and bagpipes.”

“It’s ‘Liberty Forever’ in the Gould Family,” Katie adds.
