                LV MUSEUM:
New York Times bestselling-author Peter Stark will recount George Washington’s formative early career in a lecture and book-signing for his recently-released book, “Young Washington: How Wilderness and War Forged America’s Founding Father,” 1 p.m. Nov. 17, Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum, 432 W. Walnut St., Allentown.
“Americans often hold a static and idealized vision of George Washington,” said Joseph Garrera, Executive Director of the Museum. “By exploring Washington’s early struggles and evolution to leadership, Stark portrays a very human figure who can inspire all of us toward resilience, steadfastness and growth,” Garrera said.
Stark’s book will be available for purchase, and the author will sign copies.
The talk is in conjunction with the Museum’s exhibit, “The American Presidency.”
