Ruth M. Phillips, 79, of Schnecksville, formerly of Neffs, died Oct. 26, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg campus, Bethlehem.

She was the wife of the late Robert S. Phillips.

Born June 15, 1939, in Neffs, she was the daughter of the late Richard H. and Helen C. (Ruch) Schneck.

A secretary at the former Lehigh County Vocational Technical School, now Lehigh Career and Technical Institute, Schnecksville, for nine years, she retired in 1989.

She was a member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schnecksville.

Her survivors include daughters Jan P. Keeler (Kevin) of Emmaus, Jill A. Schaffer (Terry) of Jim Thorpe, Joy A. Snyder (Eric) of Brodheadsville; siblings Clair R. Schneck (Grace) of Slatington, Harold R. Schneck of Alabama, Melba M. Kuder of Neffs, Walter J. Schneck (Jackie) of Schnecksville, Arthur R. Schneck (Susan) of Neffs; grandchildren James, Alex, Kayla, and Austin; and great-grandchildren Cole and Lily.

She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Karyssa.
