Patricia R. (Gormas) Eckrode, 80, of Macungie, died suddenly Oct. 23, 2018. She was the wife of the late Robert M. Eckrode for 37 years until his death in 1993. She was the longtime companion of Charles A. “Chuck” McNeil. Born in Mahanoy City, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Olga (Kovick) Gormas.

Until retiring, she worked for Saab and Caterpillar in their inventory control departments.

She enjoyed membership with the Lower Macungie Seniors.

She is survived by a daughter Sandra Dale and her husband Daniel Einsla; sons, Robert M. with Dawn Russell, and Craig S. with Deborah McMahon; grandsons Mark, Michael and Sean; sister, Virginia and her husband Fred Higgins; brothers Francis “Butch” Gormas and Gerald Gormas and his wife Mary Anne; nieces, nephews and extended family.

Services and interment will be private. Arrangements were made by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Whitehall.
