Concetta M. “Connie” Weikel, 97, of Allentown, died Oct. 26, 2018, at home.

She and her late husband Claude H. Weikel were married more than 63 years.

Born in Benevento, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Jiulia (Barricella) Palatella.

Before retiring in the early 1980s, she was an assembler for Western Electric and Lucent.

She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Allentown.

Her survivors include sons Thomas C. and his wife, Diane, of Hanover, Terry D. and his wife, Susan, of Downingtown; daughter Kathleen A., wife of the late Richard Cole, of Allentown; grandchildren Debbie and Chris Cole, Craig and Brian Weikel, and Jessica Weikel; great-grandchildren Lacey, Tyler, Sabrina, Cameron, Adrienne, Gavin and Addison.

She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Jennifer, and sisters Susan Solt, Margaret Tyler and Julia Shiner.
