Carolyn R. Reichl, 79, of Orefield, died Oct. 15, 2018, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown Campus.

She was the wife of the late William C. Reichl.

Born March 29, 1939, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Grace (LaFaw) Ruppert.

A 1957 graduate of Allen High School, she was the office manager for Erie Insurance Co. formerly located in Northampton for 30 years before retiring.

Her survivors include a daughter Michele R. Degler and her husband, Bryan, of Orefield; sisters Pauline Silfies of Allentown and Shirley Pinard of Bethlehem; grandson William J. Hartman Jr. of Bernville; and great-grandchildren, Zhanyree, Silas and Fauna.
