Patricia R. Eckrode, 80, of Macungie, died suddenly Oct. 23, 2018. She was the wife of the late Robert M. Eckrode for 37 years. She was the longtime companion of Charles “Chuck” A. McNeil.

Born in Mahanoy City, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Olga (Kovick) Gormas.

Until retiring, she worked for Saab and Caterpillar in the inventory control departments.

She was a member of Lower Macungie Seniors.

She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Dale and her husband Daniel Einsla; two sons, Robert M. with Dawn Russell and Craig S. with Deborah McMahon; three grandsons, Mark, Michael and Sean; a sister, Virginia and her husband Fred Higgins; two brothers, Francis “Butch” Gormas and Gerald Gormas and his wife Mary Anne; nieces, nephews; and extended family.

Services will be private.
