Katherine M. Danish, 57, of Slatington, died Oct. 22, 2018, in her home.

She and her husband William A. Danish Jr. were married for 30 years.

Born in Bethlehem, Lehigh County, she was a daughter of the late John and Gladys (Rice) Bergeris.

She was a prekindergarten teacher at Park Avenue Kids Korner, Neffs, for the last seven years.

Before that, she worked at Union Church Pre-School, Neffs, and Guardian Life Insurance Co., Bethlehem.

She attended Hope Lutheran Church, Cherryville.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Abigail M. Danish at home, Austin B. Danish and his fiancée Taryn M. Gaffney at home and Morgane L. Danish of Catasauqua; and a sister, Michelle Cortright of Slatington.
