Freedom tennis players Natalie Sinai and Tashanna Smith sailed through the District XI Class 3A Doubles Tennis Tournament last week and were ultimately crowned district champions last Thursday at Lehigh University.

In the Class 2A doubles tournament, Bethlehem Catholic’s Belen Blasco and Jessica Marks made it to the district final but had to forfeit due to an injury sustained before that match.
The Hawks’ tournament also began last Monday with victories over Jim Thorpe’s Chloe Getz and Trista Gehris, 6-0, 6-0, and Saucon Valley’s Sarah Inglis and Katya Yeager, 6-0, 6-0.
