Bernadine M. (Keppel) Busch, 77, of Whitehall, died peacefully Oct. 17, 2018.

Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Hilda (Leitgeb) Keppel,

She and her husband, Joseph C. Busch Sr., celebrated 54 years of marriage this month.

She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Allentown,

A 1959 graduate of Coplay High School, she was employed by Lehigh Valley Educators Credit Union in Allentown for 20 years, before retiring as the payroll administrator in 2004.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and most of all spoiling her grandchildren and their pets.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons Joseph C. Jr. and wife Carol, Michael and wife Tiffany, and Daniel, all of Whitehall; grandchildren Matthew, Heather, Peter and Jacob; sisters Carol Mondjack and Constance Knopf, wife of Dennis, all of Whitehall; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was predeceased by an infant brother Peter Keppel Jr.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Msgr. Victor F. Finelli 10 a.m. Oct. 26 in the church, 1046 W. Cedar St., Allentown.

Her only viewing will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday in Gilbert Funeral Home, 444 Pershing Blvd. Whitehall.

Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Whitehall.
