Theresa “Terri” Hutnick, 88, of Neffs, died Oct. 17, 2018, at Sacred Heart Senior Living, Northampton. She was the wife of the late Paul S. Hutnick.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late John and Gisela (Bauer) Pail.

She was a 1948 graduate of Northampton High School where, in her senior year, she was selected to participate in a math competition in which she placed second.

She was a legal secretary for Attorney Milton Lowy for many years. She co-owned Neffs Valley Park with her husband.

She was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Northampton.

She is survived by a son, David J.; three grandchildren, Rachael and her husband Chris Psarsay and Zachary and Elizabeth Hutnick; a sister, Eleanore A. Scherr; a sister-in-law, Eleanore Lessel; a niece, Suzanne Lessel; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers, John and Joseph Pail; and a sister, Mary Stangl.
