Roberta May Sherwin, 75, of Macungie, died peacefully Oct. 12, 2018. She was the wife of Gerald P. Sherwin, M.D. They were married for 37 years. Born in Whitinsville, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Robert F. and Lucille M. (Tancrell) Romasco.

She graduated from Mecklenburg High School, Class of 1960, in Charlotte, N.C. She graduated from Mercy School of Nursing, Class of 1963, also in Charlotte, N.C. She worked as an operating room nurse at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest from 1975 until her retirement in 2003.

She is survived by her husband; children: Kristina Sundin, of Watchung, N.J., David, of Slatington, Kimberly Schmidt, of Roaring Brook Township and Nicholas E. Sundin, of Perkasie; grandchildren: Zakery, Brooke, Katharine, Kyle, Morgan, Abigail, Jenna, Gianna, Chiara, Sophia and Gavin.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Oct. 17, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown.
