Doris A. Koch, 71, of New Tripoli, died on Oct. 10, 2018, in Cornerstone Living, New Tripoli.

She and her husband Leroy D. Koch celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary on Oct. 1.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Ernest F. and Alice M. (Fetherolf) Dietrich.

A 1965 graduate of Northwestern High School, she later worked as a prep cook for the former Terry’s Place Restaurant, New Smithville.

She was known for her love of shopping, which she referred to as her “retail therapy.”

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her son Christopher M. (Traci) Thompson of Maxatawny; stepdaughter Daphne, wife of Jamie Benfield, of Bally; one grandson; three step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandson; and brother Lester E. (Jan) Dietrich of Allentown.
