Lisa A. Hoffman

Lisa A. Hoffman, 59, of Allentown, died Oct. 4, 2018. She was the wife of Brian Hoffman, They were married for 36 years last month. She was the daughter of the late George and Louise (Massarelli) Eissmann.

She grew up in Salisbury Township and attended Allentown Central Catholic High School and Penn State University.

She was employed by Parkland School District for 20 years. She loved working as a teacher’s aide and paraprofessional at Ironton Elementary School, where she was devoted to her co-workers and her students.

She was very active and creative, spending time doing yoga, kayaking, crafting, art journaling, gardening, enjoying the great outdoors and time with family.

She was an avid reader, as well as a Master Gardener. She just recently returned from a trip with her family to Rocky Mountain National Park, a vacation she truly treasured.

She is survived by her husband; son, Shawn; daughter, Allison; sister, Inga and her husband James Buccella; mother-in-law, Nancy (Beitler); brother-in-law, Glenn and his wife Catherine; nephews, Kevin, and Christopher Buccella; niece, Alayna Buccella.
