Glen A. Acker, 37, of Emmaus, died Oct. 5, 2018. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Scott A. Acker and Carolyn A. (Page) Bunting.

He worked as a cook for The Shelby and formerly at the Bethlehem Brew Works.

He is survived by his father and wife, Susan; mother and her husband Larry Bunting; son, Derek N.; sister, Melissa Vaka; stepsister, Karen Bailey; grandfather, Glenwood Barlow; grandmother, Elda; many aunts, uncles, niece, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a stepbrother, Derek Smith; grandfathers, Allen, and Warren Koch; grandmother, Alice Barlow.

Contributions may be made to the funeral home to benefit his son, Derek.

A memorial service will be held 7:30 p.m. Oct. 11 in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Visitation will be 6 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
