Ruth E. Adams, 88, of Macungie, died Sept. 29, 2018, in the Lehigh Center, Macungie. She was the wife of the late Allen A. Adams. Born in Fleetwood, she was the daughter of the late Harry H. and Sallie (Heck) Hoch.

She was a member of St. Paul’s U.C.C., Trexlertown.

She was employed at DayTimer Dorney Printer until retiring.

She was a member of the Legion Auxiliary at Ray Master’s Post, Topton and past president and secretary of Kutztown Post 480 American Legion.

She is survived by children, Dale A. and his wife Mary, Keith C. and Sheri; grandchildren, Amanda Rose, Samantha Ruth and Anthony Williams; six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers and a sister.

Services will be held 10 a.m. Oct. 6 at the Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Road, Breinigsville, 18031. Calling hours will be 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 5 and 9 to 10 a.m. Oct. 6 in the funeral home.
