Joseph Arthur Spence, 75, of New Tripoli, died Sept. 26, 2018, in Cedarbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Fountain Hill.

He and his wife Dolores Ann (Mordosky) Spence were married 44 years.

Born in Wilmington, Del., he was the son of the late Arthur Neil and Callista (Connell) Spence.

He was a field and quality control inspector at Air Products and Chemical Inc., Trexlertown, for 20 years before retiring.

He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield, and the Knights of Columbus, Council 10921.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Joseph James Spence and his wife, Elizabeth DeFranco, of Bethlehem, Cynthia Marie Spence and her husband, Steven Geiger, of New Tripoli; siblings Mark Spence of McKees Rocks, Stephen Spence of Virginia, Rosemary Lynch and Eugene Spence, both of Delaware; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, James.
