Don’t forget, the 12th annual Best of North Catasauqua Autumnfest will be held 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 13 at North Catasauqua William J. Albert Memorial Park, 701 Grove St.

While the event has been held on Sundays in the past, this year’s Autumnfest is on a Saturday, with a rain date of Oct. 14.

Plans include a car show, live music, children’s activities, eating contests and much more.

The Halloween season is upon us. Mark your calendar for the Catasauqua-North Catasauqua Halloween parade Oct. 17 and for trick-or-treat night Oct. 31.

Porter Lodge No. 284 F&AM, 1103 Sixth St., will host a cash bingo 3 p.m. Oct. 28. Doors open 1 p.m., with the kitchen offering food from Grumpy’s BBQ Roadhouse and other items.

A Chinese auction will also be held.

This event provides income for charitable and fraternal activities. Most recent bingo jackpots have been in excess of $300.
