Frank Joseph Karweta, 64, of Northampton, died Sept. 19, 2018, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Maryann (Manziano) Karweta for 28 years.

Born in Wilkes Barre, he was a son of the late Frank and Lottie (Brzyski) Karweta.

He attended Gate of Heaven School and was a Dallas (Pennsylvania) High School graduate. In 1977, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in law enforcement and corrections at Pennsylvania State University.

He was an adult probation and parole officer for Lehigh County for 25 years.

He is survived by a sister, Mary Jo and her husband Michael Shisko of Harveys Lake; close family; and friends.

There will be a memorial service 11:30 a.m. Oct. 6 at Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery mausoleum, 3161 Cherryville Road, Northampton.
