Dianne A. Smith-Kmieczak

Dianne A. Smith- Kmieczak, 72, of Bath, died Sept. 23, 2018, at home. She was the wife of the late James P. Smith for 35 years and of Donald N. Kmieczak for 13 years.

Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Elmer O. and Dorothy H. (Hess) Kist.

She was a 1964 graduate of Northampton High School.

She was a self-employed bookkeeper for James P. Smith Plastering and Stucco for 35 years. She then owned and operated The Barn House Village, Bath, for 12 years.

She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Coopersburg, where she was a celebration choir member and a church council secretary.

She was a 4-H leader, piano teacher, a 25-year Girl Scout leader and a church organist for various churches.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, JoAnn L. Stivala of Bethlehem and Deanna L. and her husband Michael Kohler of Nazareth; a brother, Robert P. and his wife Barbara Kist of Jesup, Ga.; two stepdaughters, Kimberly M. and her husband Paul Hellerick of Coopersburg and Jennifer L. and her husband Marc Mizrachy of Hillsborough, N.J.; a stepson, Keith J. and his wife Lanee Kmieczak of Leola; five grandchildren; and six stepgrandchildren.
