The Moravian Archives will be open to the public for research and for visiting the Building Bethlehem exhibit and the gift shop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 17 at the archives, 41 W. Locust St.
Building Bethlehem features some of the earliest building plans, drawings, and maps showing the development of Bethlehem during the colonial period. The drawings are combined with artifacts, paintings, and nineteenth-century photographs of the buildings.

The fifth annual Bethlehem Conference on Moravian History and Music will be held Oct. 27 through 29 at Haupert Union Building (HUB); the Moravian Archives; Saal, Moravian Theological Seminary; Central Moravian Church; and additional locations. The themes are 275 years of the City of Bethlehem, its music and history; and Moravian encounters with friends and strangers.
The Moravian Historical Society 159th annual meeting at 1:45 p.m. and lecture at 2:30 p.m. in Peter Hall, and a reception at 3:45 p.m. at McCarthy’s Red Stag Pub, 534 Main St., will be held on Oct. 29.
The conference is sponsored by the Moravian Archives, Moravian College, and the Center for Moravian Studies, in partnership with the Moravian Music Foundation, Moravian Historical Society, Moravian Theological Seminary, and Historic Bethlehem Partnership.
