Richard S. Ruben, 70, of Zionsville, died Sept. 18, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Sharon A. (Lute) Ruben, with whom he shared 49 years of marriage. Born in Indiana, Pa., he was the son of the late George and Ann (Sagal) Ruben.

He was a graduate of Millersville University.

He was a graphic arts teacher at Emmaus High School for 38 years, retiring in 2008.

He was a member of Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife; sons, Richard S. Jr. and his wife Denise, of Spencer, N.Y. and Christopher G. and his wife Monique, of Manchester, Md.; daughter, Jessica R. and her husband Matthew Michetti, of Falls Church, Va.; sisters, Patricia Blazosky, of Northfield, Ohio and Shirley Connolly, of Carmel, N.Y.; grandchildren, Caden, Merit and Mercy; Miles and Maclen Michetti.
