Probe continues after explosion

Whitehall police and fire department personnel were called to a home on Juniper Drive Sept. 21 for the report of an explosion.

According to the report, the emergency call was made just before 3:30 a.m.

Whitehall Police Lt. Gregory Bealer confirmed an unspecified device was located at the scene. Allentown Bomb Squad and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms were called to assist.

As of press time Wednesday, Bealer said the incident remained under investigation and no other information was available.
