Peter J. Focht, 82, of Walnutport, died Sept. 11, 2018, at his residence.

Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late Nicholas Sr. and Elizabeth (Moosch) Focht.

He was employed by Reichard-Coulston Paint Mill, Bethlehem, as the supervisor of the yellow oxide plant for 30 years, retiring in 1991.

He served as a Shipfitter Petty Officer 3rd Class in the U.S. Navy from 1955 until 1959. He was a veteran of the Korean War.

He was a member of Howard L. Peter American Legion Post 576, Allentown.

He is survived by two daughters, Audrey and her husband Cort Steigerwalt of Slatington and Connie Smith of Emmaus; a sister, Beatrice Green of Lehigh Township; and three grandchildren, Robert, Austin and Kristen.

He was predeceased by a brother, Nicholas Jr.; a sister, Elizabeth Groller; and companion, Doris Svitilla.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.
