Frank L. Spitzer, 90, of Northampton, died Sept. 17, 2018, at Holy Family Manor. He was the husband of Theresa (Lang) Spitzer for 68 years.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Frank and Anna (Muller) Spitzer.

He was a supervisor in the finishing department at Modern Clothing until retiring.

He was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, where he sang on the choir for 60 years.

A button box accordion player, he was the leader of the Frank Spitzer Orchestra. He was a member of the Burgenland Gemeine Shaaf. He was a life member and a past president of the Northampton Liederkrantz.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Robert S. and Anthony J.; two granddaughters, Jennifer and Jessica; two great-grandsons, Brian and Alexander; and two sisters, Anna and her husband Joseph Furst and Hilda Beale.
