Betty L. Gombotsh, 87, of Coplay, died Sept. 10, 2018, at Whitehall Manor. She was the wife of the late Frank A. Gombotsh.

Born in Bath, she was a daughter of the late John Bogarosh and the late Daisy (Druckenmiller) Bogarosh.

She was a dietary aide for 20 years with the Wood Company at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall, until she retired in 2009. Before that, she was, for 23 years, the first female forklift operator at the former Capital Records, Bethlehem.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Coplay.

She was active in many local senior organizations.

She is survived by a daughter, Beverly A. Gessner of Northampton; a daughter-in-law, Carol Nemeth of Whitehall; a stepson, Michael Gombotsh of Allentown; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Joseph Nemeth; a brother, John Bogarosh; a sister, Joyce Jackson; a son-in-law, Todd Gessner; and a granddaughter, Amanda.
