Shirley A. Wisser, 83, of New Tripoli, died Sept. 11, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She and her husband Thomas F. Wisser were married 61 years.

Born May 8, 1935, in North Whitehall Township, she was the daughter of the late Russell H. and Arlene M.B. (Semmel) Haas.

She was a teller at New Tripoli Bank for 19 years before retiring in 2005.

Before that, she was an executive secretary at the former Freihofer Baking Company, Allentown.

She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield, and the Pastorius Home Association Inc.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by children Philip T. Wisser and Alice M. Seyler and her husband, Barry, all of New Tripoli, Lois A. Reyes of Allentown, Joan A. Mege of Fleetwood; siblings Laird K.S. and Darwin R. Haas, both of Orefield, Marilyn E. Werley and Wayne L. Haas, both of New Smithville; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
