Robert C. Miles, 63, of Newfoundland, died Sept. 14, 2018.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late William J. Jr. and Grace A. (Oplinger) Miles.

He was a special gift to four generations of his family.

He taught his family compassion and caring for all those who are different, yet valuable members of the human family.

The family mourns his passing and blesses his life, and will always remember him with love.

His survivors include a brother David W. Miles and wife, Lois, of New Tripoli; sisters Barbara J. Miller and husband, Jesse, of Dayton, Ohio, Virginia G. Miles and wife, Sara Fershee, of Topton, and Margaret L. Keiffer and husband, Jeff Norris, of Center Valley; and nieces and nephews.
