Marie L. Weida, 99, of New Tripoli, formerly of Slatington, died Sept. 15, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
She was the widow of Clarence W. “Bobo” Weida.
Born June 4, 1919, in Lynnport, she was the daughter of the late Earl D.J. and Meda M. (Hamm) Henry.
She was a farmer, along with her husband, for 40 years in Lehigh County before retiring in 1978.
She was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Heidelberg Union Church, Heidelberg Township.
She was on the Board of Drie County Pa. German Fersommling, a member of the Ontelaunee Lioness Club, Slatington Chapter 458 O.E.S., a member of the Slatedale Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, 179 in New Tripoli.
Her survivors include a daughter Nancy M., wife of Forrest C. Laudenslager, of New Tripoli; grandchildren, Donna, wife of Michael Wolfe of New Tripoli and Ann, wife of Donald Redline, of Orefield; great-granddaughter Stephanie Wolfe and Justin Shenk; step-great-granddaughter, Tara, and Michael Deuber; step-great-great-grandchildren Jared and Lillian Williams, and Kaylee Shenk.
