George W. Unangst, 87, of Salisbury Township, died Sept. 5, 2018, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown. Born in Bethlehem, he was the oldest of eight children of Helen I. (Barthol) and Charles D. Unangst.

He served his country honorably in the Air Force during the Korean War.

He was a truck driver for Faust Construction Company for many years.

He is survived by siblings, Arlene M. Yenolevich, Lester C. and his wife Linda, David C., all of Salisbury Township, Wayne S., of Catasauqua, Linda L. and her husband Joseph Sipe, of Center Valley; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Margaret “Peggy” Sedora and Sandra J. Stein.
