Richard W. Muller Jr.

Richard W. Muller, Jr. 73, of Bethlehem, died peacefully Sept. 4, 2018, in his home.

He and his wife Barbara Kay (Bittner) Muller were married 53 years.

Born Oct. 26, 1944, in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Richard W. Sr. and Jeanette R. (Neith) Muller.

A 1962 graduate of Parkland High School, he was a member of the varsity basketball and baseball teams.

In 1966, he graduated from Moravian College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics, business administration and accounting.

He was a self-employed motor sport consultant regarding facilities for drive enthusiasts since 1991.

Before that, he served as co-owner and CEO of operations, with his family, of the former Ice City Inc., Allentown from 1958-93.

He was a former member of the National Spa and Pool Institute, the Porsche Club of America and the Ferrari Club of America.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a son Richard W. III and his wife, Kerry; grandchildren Alex and Avery of Schnecksville; son Darren J. Muller of Wyomissing; and brothers Thomas J. Muller of Macungie, and Barry W. Muller and his wife, Debbie, of Schnecksville.
