Carol J. Gibiser, 75, of Emmaus, died Sept. 3, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Frederick A. Gibiser for the past 48 years. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Roy K. and Eva V. (Breunig) Schmeltzle.
She graduated in 1960 from Emmaus High School and worked at DeLabar Chevrolet in Emmaus and then for Boise Cascade of Allentown in the accounting department. She became a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother and then went on to become a business owner of a Merry Maids franchise for 33 years.
She was a 50 plus year member of Beta Sigma Phi, a national sorority.
She was a member of Old Zionsville United Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband; daughter, Sheri and her husband Michael Estrella, of High Bridge, N.J.; son, Chad, of Emmaus; grandchildren, Evan and Leah Estrella. She was predeceased by a brother, Roy K. Schmeltzle Jr. in 1940.
