Larry V. Kulhamer

Larry V. Kulhamer, 67, a lifelong resident of Whitehall, died peacefully Aug. 29, 2018, in St. Luke’s Hospice, surrounded by his loving and dedicated family.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Marion D. (Lindenmuth) Kulhamer, and the late Vincent P. Kulhamer who died in 2010.

A professional driver for PennDOT for many years, he retired 2012.

Earlier in life he worked in the 5C plant of Mack Trucks.

A life member of Woodlawn Fire Co. and Fullerton Fire Co. No. 1, he was a devoted Phantoms, Flyers and NASCAR fan.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter Jenna L. Pettinelli and her husband, Michael; son Derek T. Kulhamer and his wife, Amanda; grandchildren Dominic, Kiersten and Cecilia, along with an expected blessing in February; brother John Kulhamer and his wife, Nicolina; many cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family.

He was good friend to many, and will be missed.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 6 in Gilbert Funeral Home, 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall, with the Rev. George R. Eckstein officiating.

His viewing will begin 1 p.m. Interment will be private.
