Dolores K. Brown, 88, of Allentown, died Sept. 1, 2018 in her home.

She was the wife of the late Joseph H. Brown.

Born March 11, 1930, in Askam, Luzerne County, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Margaret (Zofcin) Kammerer.

She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield, where she was a former member of the Women’s Guild and enjoyed volunteering her time making pierogies for the church festival.

She also enjoyed making hoagies for the Kay Brook-Green Hills swim team.

She loved dining at Wert’s Cafe and enjoyed watching Judge Judy, The Hallmark Channel and Cops.

She was always there for everyone - family, friends, neighbors and strangers.

She also spent countless hours with her nine grandchildren and will be forever remembered as a wonderful wife and a caring and loving mother.

Her survivors include children Joseph E. Brown (Alice), Jacquelyn A. Jaindl (David), James M. Brown (Robyn), Jerry P. Brown (Jana) all of Orefield; grandchildren Elizabeth Dolan (Justin), Emily Cole (Christopher), Adam Jaindl, Jacob Jaindl (Ashley), Luke, Joshua and Joanna Jaindl, Rachel Velasquez (Oliver), Jared Brown; great-grandchildren Lorraine Dolan, Atticus Cole, Jace and Grayson Jaindl.

She was predeceased by children Judith H. and Jeffrey D. Brown.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Sept. 6 at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield.

The Rev. Msgr. Robert J. Wargo will be celebrant.

Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30-11 a.m. Thursday in the church.

Interment will follow the service at Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville.
