Carolyn M. Hamm, 86, of New Tripoli, died Sept. 2, 2018, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown.
She and her husband Robert C. Hamm Jr. were married 68 years on July 22.
Born in New Tripoli, she was a daughter of the late Raymond D. and Hattie M. (DeLong) Mantz.
She was an administrator in the business department at Northwestern Lehigh School District for 36 years.
A member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ, New Tripoli, she was a Sunday School teacher, in the Women’s Guild, and sang with the choir more than 50 years, as well as being a soloist.
She was a judge of elections in Lynn Township for many years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons Kevin and wife, Wendy, of Marlton, N.J. and Darryl and wife, Carol, of Harrisburg; grandchildren Melissa Hagenow and Logan Hamm; step-granddaughter Rebecca Mount; great-granddaughter Stella; nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Mark W. Mantz, and sister, Mabel A. Mantz.
A viewing will take place 9:30-11 a.m. on Sept. 8 at Ebenezer United Church of Christ, 7293 Decatur St., New Tripoli, 18066 with the Rev. William Ellsworth officiating.
Her funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Ebenezer Cemetery.
