Charles E. Bower, 56, of Alburtis, died Aug. 31, 2018. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Helen B. A. (Erb) Bower, of Alburtis and the late George F. Bower.

He was employed at Walmart for 15 years before retiring.

He enjoyed sports, bowling and playing bingo.

He is survived by his mother; brother, Tom; sister, Faye and her husband J.D. Schultz; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.

Contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Sept. 7 at the Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Road, Breinigsville, 18031. Calling will begin 10 a.m. Sept. 7 at the funeral home.
