Norma A. Schrey, 97, of Whitehall, died Aug. 24, 2018, at home. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Schrey Jr. for 39 years.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Arturo and Mary (Rubertelli) Favotto.
She was a 1938 graduate of Allentown High School.
She was a hostess at the former Dockside Inn, North Catasauqua, until she retired in 2006. She had been previously a crossing guard and a private seamstress.
She created costumes for the Theatre in the Round at Dorney Park.
She was a 65-year member of her ongoing high school canasta club.
She attended an area widow’s group.
She is survived by two daughters, Toni M. and her husband Richard Fillman and Judy Schrey Walbert and her husband Edward; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and godchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Edward J. III; a sister, Julia Gilbert; and a brother, Rudolph Favotto.
There will be a viewing 6-8 p.m. Aug. 29 at the funeral home, 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall, 18052. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 a.m. Aug. 30 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield, 18069.
