Barbara L. Anderson, 75, of Wescosville, died Aug. 24, 2018, surrounded by loving family, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She and her husband Arthur D. Anderson Jr. were married 52 years this month.

Born in the Bronx, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Albert and Lillian (O’Neil) Horling.

She graduated from East Stroudsburg State College with a Bachelor’s degree in education.

She taught English and reading at Troxell Junior High School, Allentown, for four years before having children.

She was a salesperson for eight years at So-Fro Fabrics in the Lehigh Valley Mall and a Realtor-Associate at Coldwell Banker and Patt White, Emmaus.

Her interests included traveling, reading, sewing, needlework, dolls, pets and horses.

She will be greatly missed by family members, relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons Christopher of Wescosville and Bradley and wife, Christy, of Seisholtzville; brother Stephen Horling and wife, Sandra, of Orange, Conn.; cousin Stuart Horling of Toms River, N.J.; grandchildren Carly and Aubrey Anderson; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by an infant daughter Lisa Stacey.

Her service will be private.
