Eleanor P. Schneck, 92, of Statesville, N.C., formerly of Walnutport and Schnecksville, died Aug. 17, 2018, in Valley Nursing Center, Taylorsville, N.C.

She was the wife of the late Norman E. Schneck.

Born April 11, 1926, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Samuel J. and Esther L. (Stettler) Grim.

A rental agent for Winding Wood Apartments, Bethlehem, for seven years, she retired in 1987.

Before that, she was the night manager for Mary Ann Donut Kitchen, Allentown, for five years.

She was a member of Faith Independent Church of Christ, Walnutport.

Her survivors include a son Larry J. Schneck and his wife, Barbara, of Stony Point, N.C.; sisters Irene L. Scherr and Lillian C. Schaffer, both of Allentown; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother Paul Grim.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Aug. 23 in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Larry E. Yeakel officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 10-11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service at Friedens Church Cemetery, Slatington.
