Craig L. Holben

Craig L. Holben, 47, of Kutztown, died unexpectedly Aug. 17, 2018, in Palmer Township.

Born Jan. 29, 1971, in Allentown, he was a son to Herman S. and Karen M. (Pradel) Holben.

A 1988 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School, he was a driver for Glenn Moyer Trucking, New Tripoli, and later drove truck for Mesko, Allentown.

An avid outdoorsman, he loved camping, fishing and hunting, but above all, he loved being a dad to his two beautiful children.

In addition to his loving parents, his survivors include a son Nevin S. Holben of Tamaqua; daughter Lauren Holben of Orefield; fiancee Janet Ross at home; sister Dana L. Holben and her fiance Michael Stebbins of Tafton; brother Nathan S. Holben of Charlotte, N.C.; half-brother Joshua D. Williams of Rock Hill, S.C.; grandfather Joseph Pradel of Bushnell, Fla.; and grandmother Audrey Niedermeyer of Catasauqua.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Sterling and Lillian (Young) Holben.

His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Aug. 25 in Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, PA 18066, with a calling hour at 10 a.m.

The Rev. Gary Whittington will officiate.
