Christopher Ray Hausman, 25, of Kempton, died Aug. 17, 2018, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Kempton, Berks County.

Born Jan. 17, 1993, in Allentown, he was the son of Steven R. and Jodi B. (Hausman) Schiffert of New Tripoli.

He was a diesel mechanic for R.S. Snyder Enterprises Inc., Kempton.

A 2011 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School, he was a former member of Lehigh County 4-H.

He was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Ziegels Union Church, Breinigsville.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by daughters Elaina J. and Kinsley R. Hausman, both of New Tripoli; sisters Tori A. and Amber N. Schiffert, both of New Tripoli; maternal grandparents Ray L. and Gloria M. (Hoffman) Hausman of Breinigsville; and paternal grandparents Stewart R. and Justine K. (Moyer) Schiffert of New Smithville.
