SouthSide Bethlehem community groups and leaders are hosting a benefit for the Lynfield Community Center from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 26 at the IceHouse, 56 River St.

There will be free Latin dance lessons at 5 p.m. The Grupo En Secuencia will perform Latin music from 6 to 8 p.m.

Tickets are available at the door. Admission includes music and dancing, light refreshments, and one beer or a glass of wine. There will be a basket/gift raffle.

The Lynfield Community Center offers a homework club, arts and crafts, cultural awareness and sports activities for low income youth, as well as local community educational services. It operates a 4-H Gardening Club in partnership with Northampton County 4-H and the Penn State Extension. For LCC information, email rortizbasd@gmail.com.
