The City of Bethlehem has announced several street closings in August.

UGI will continue working on New Street but will need to close the road between Elizabeth Avenue and Goepp Street from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily from Aug. 13 through 24.

In the Schoenersville Road area, PennDOT’s contractor will continue to work at night repairing concrete patches, and began daytime lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 15. The contractor will begin milling and paving operations overnight with lane closures. All work is located north of Route 22.

PennDOT will have pothole patching crews on Route 378 on Wednesday and Thursday nights between Third Street and the Broad Street bridge. Lane closures will take place from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
