Raymond L. Truesdell, 91, of Allentown, died Aug. 12, 2018, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown.

He was the beloved husband of Charlotte (Frey) Truesdell, whom he married in 1954 in New York City, N.Y.

Proud to have served in the U.S. Army as a sergeant during WWII, he used the GI Bill to became an electrical engineer, and worked for RCA more than 30 years.

An avid gardener, he was a passionate do-it-yourself person who loved cats.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Kenneth and wife, Jill, of Bay Shore, N.Y.; daughters Dr. Donna Truesdell and fiancée, Mark Mazer, of New Tripoli and Carol Lyons of Sicklerville, N.J.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Private family services will take place at the Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
